What could this mean? Weird smells and so tired?
OK. It’s been 8 weeks since I had a normal period. I had a weird flow that was brownish and spotty 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I keep smelling everything. I can’t get out at the gas station because it makes me want to throw up so bad. I used to enjoy those little mini powdered donuts every once in a while.. I got some yesterday and the smell made me nauseous. I’m also very "disagreeable" (as my sweet man put it; dunno that i agree.. i think i’m acting normal as far as personality goes hehe), soo tired, and always hungry. I always want to sleep and eat the past 3 weeks. I’m bloated and weird feeling. I dunno.
My next period would’ve been due on the 22nd (regular 30 day cycle) of September. That spotting came on October 3-5. Sooo the next period, considering the spotting, might be due when?? I’ve had 6 negatives and one positive HPT. I went to the Doc to get a TSH done for thyroid concerns and they didn’t do a blood test like I asked because they "just couldn’t when we have to do a TSH so you’ll have to postpone" but they did do a urine test which was negative. That was 3 weeks ago.
When do you think my next period would be due and should I test again if it misses?? How long should I wait? I can’t have blood taken again until mid-November or I’d just go do that (reason being those thyroid issues with possible hypothyroid).
It’s urgent that I found out the sooner the better. I do NOT want an abortion or anything but I don’t want to find out at like..4 months and shock the world… or my mother. :/
THANKS!!!!

Should I just get over it already?
OK, after my kids I became hypothyroid but wasn’t diagnosed for quite some time. I now am 25 lbs overweight and my husband has made some negative comments. He has always complained about my weight- even when I weighed only 136!!! My self-esteem is shot and I have cried way too much over this. It’s at the point where he totally regrets ever saying ANYTHING and really wishes I would get over it. He has said things like " would any man find this attractive?" "look what I have to have sex with".. etc.
We have had endless talks where I am crying and hurt and he states that now he loves me no matter what but I just can’t believe him anymore. His big thing now is that he wants me to stop getting upset of these conversations in our "recent past" that now he will always find me sexy and attractive. I just can’t believe him though. He has hurt my feelings so very bad.
Am I holding on to resentment and just putting him through the ringer or am I justified in being unbelieveably hurt.
Am I being a jerk by not letting this go? Am I going overboard with my "feeling being hurt"? How do I get over this? I know that deep down he is not happy with my appearance. YES, I AM TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT.
Yes, I am on Synthroid. Recently we were talking about the reasons why a couple we knew divorced. He stated "oh yeah, she maintained her weight and he became overweight- there’s another reason for the divorce". I just lost it, started crying and stated- I knew weight was a big issue with you. Why would someone find weight as a reason for divorce- this guy was just slightly overweight anyhow. It’s been years of his complaining when I wasn’t even overweight and now that I actually am- I am pretty devestated.

Why do I usually not feel hungry?
I am a man in my 40s, 6′ tall, 68 kg (around 150 pounds). For breakfast I usually just have a glass of chocolate milk, sometimes compounded by another one at work.
At work, as it is customary in this country we have just slices of bread with things on top. I put kind of a salad, or ham and then cheese. I eat usually around 2-3 slices (not double slices as in a sandwich).
When I get home I usually do not feel the need to eat dinner. Very rarely in which case I eat something. Otherwise I just have fiber cereal and in some cases I just eat something because I think I should.
I sometimes wonder if there is something wrong with me. I thought the treatment for hypothyroid would help but nope. I am not anorexic as I love food, I just don’t feel like stuffing myself up.
Weekends same thing, I can go nearly a whole day without eating and just a few glasses of natural juice, PERHAPS a cereal and on ocassion a small snack.
Any ideas? or anybody out there with the same problem?
Forgot to mention that my cholesterol levels are lower than usual (thanks God! I can’t swallow pills). Since my early 20’s I have taken care of not eating much fatty stuff (except for ocassional chips).

I am so over this, why does this have to be so complicated?
I have been off birth control for three months, my first cycle was 34 days and I clearly ovulated with my temps staying above 97.5 for 12 days, but my last cycle was 33 days and there was no elevation in my temps for any length of time so I started taking FertilAid and I am now on day 25 of this cycle and no indication of ovulation. If my cycle stays consistent with the last two months I would have already ovulated by now. This is too frustrating keeping up with month after month. I can’t imagine how all of you who have been doing this for more than a year must feel. I plan to go to my doctor today since she told me to come in if I was pg by January. I have a hypothyroid, so she was wanting to check my levels to make sure they are okay. I’m assuming I will have to go on some kind of prescription drug like clomid or something.
I just don’t understand why some men can just look at their wives and they are pregnant and others have to go to the other side of the world and back to get pregnant. Uggghh!

I had a thyroid test and it showed I had hypothyroid, a month later the same test showed I was fine?
I am a male if that means anything (I know its rarer in men).
I went to the doctor and told him my symptoms, I had a blood test for thyroid function, and it came back showing I was hypothyroid, not a lot, but enough to make a difference. A month later I had the same test and it came back normal. The only thing I did differently was take kelp pills from a health store. I felt the same either way (before or after the kelp pills).
Does this mean anything? My symptoms are very minor.
